buying a cat
Hi i am new to this forum so please bear with me, i am almost convinced on buying my second boat, i have narrowed the choice down to either a world cat 230 sf or 250 dc. Here is the rub, i live in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, no dealership for 000,s miles hence i need a well built reliable boat that does not fall apart every time you take out in a 6 to 8 sea. I have not seen a bad review of either of these boats or of the manufacturer, are they really that good

They are amazing. Give us some specs on what you are looking for.

They are good ,until you need warranty work. you will go through hell to get it done. I have lost the 06 ,07 and now the 08 season due to their either lack of commitment to get it done right the first time ,or their inability to have someone qualified to repair it right. my repairs were done poorly they did not hold up boat has only 350 hours. I am dumping the boat going to a GLACIER BAY boat is sitting at the factory since early april ,now is june29

I have found them to be very helpful. They even helped me get a new windlass and a new electronics module on a Sunday when I was on vacation.

I know the WCC folks are interested in correcting any customer problems, so please give the specifics and we will pass them along.
