Offshore fishing & foils, any experiances out there to share?

Looking at < 24' (condo restriction) powercat CC's that I can take out to the stream trolling on a bumpy day & want to optimize. Looking at SC 22, PS PK 22, & WC 23 (planers), but also reading about the "new" foil technology on the Corsair & wonder if weed collection is an issue...
